Regional Surf Network

AWSA's Regional Surf Network (RSN) was established to form a connectedness between local, regional and national women's surf communities inline with our purpose, mission, and guided by our values. In 16 regions across the country we carefully select an ocean woman keen to connect with their local boardriders and already-established female-led initiatives to share events and opportunities available to women and girls throughout Aotearoa.  

The aim is not to bring women en masse to surf together but to tautoko/support the wonderful groups that already exist, and ensure a diverse representation of wāhine and kōtiro across the country.  

By having a central platform for regions to share their news, events and stories we aim for more equitable  representation of wāhine and kōtiro in the sport of surfing.
